Rigidizer is applied to the surface of a Ceramic Fiber Blanket, or other high-temperature Ceramic Fiber Insulations by spraying or brushing. After air-drying, rigidizer firms-up the Refractory Ceramic Fiber, giving it tougher, more abrasion-resistant characteristics. It is normally applied after the Ceramic Fiber is installed.

Rigidizer is shipped in 5-gallon plastic drums. One gallon of Rigidizer covers approximately 50 square feet brushed or 100 square feet when sprayed.
